Week 1 Score Recap

Opening weekend of the Sixes Prize League was historic.

The cardinal game of the inaugural Sixes Prize League season went to overtime courtesy of Squirrel Hill Sports Bar runner David Hall’s game tying buzzer beater. Ryan Greer and the Pride of Patty had the final word, though, with their own buzzer beater that won the game inside OT.

Mike Eck and the Pittsburgh Potty’s took care of the Pork Chop Platoon with a 21-point performance, which is quite possibly the first ever 20-point performance in any sixes league anywhere.

At Primetime, Michael Nelson notched two, two-point goals. One of which came late to seal the game for the Barrel Vision in the Barrel Bowl that ended prematurely due to field time. Will we get another edition in the Sixes Prize League Championship? Not if the league can help it.
