Week 3, Season 002 in Pittsburgh, July 9, 2024 will go down in SPL history!
SLG upset Barrel Heavy and possibly the entire SPL on the way to their first ever 6s win as a lacrosse club. With three teams sitting at 1-2 with one week left of the regular season round robin, the next games for SLG, Heavy and Late Night GBs become pivotal for seeding and championship prize money dreams. Head-to-head is the tiebreaker for standings.
Barrel Lites had the comeback and squeaked out an OT winner over Late Night GBs, demonstrating more parity throughout the SPL this season.
