Barrels Lacrosse Club Hosts Second 6s Draft Ever Known to Mankind, Introduces Two Teams

Chase Edgar, Barrel Heavy fourth round draft pick

The Barrels Lacrosse Club hosted the second ever Sixes Draft known to mankind on May 29, 2024 in Pittsburgh at Hop Farm Brewing Company. Draft picks went to teams Barrel Heavy or Barrel Lites, who will play in Sixes Prize League Season 002.

Triple Crown winner, Logan Maloni captains the Barrel Lites, and Barrel Vision champion Michael Nelson captains the team Barrel Heavy.

At the draft, Chase Edgar of last season’s Rollin’ Barrels and two-time SPL sponsor Zeds, was picked in the fourth round in consecutive Sixes Drafts. He was a 20-point scorer last season, and one of 18 players to record a double-double with 10+ goals and 10+ assists.
