Pride of Patty Re-Enlists For Sixes Prize League Season Three, Armed With Two Former DI Players

Pride of Patty was a dark horse during the inaugural Sixes Prize League season. They had a Batman and Robin-like scoring tandem in Ryan Greer and Ryan Shorts, Greer was the regular season leader in 2-pointers and Shorts was top 15 in points. Pride of Patty jelled together as a group of West Minster College lacrosse team alumni who battled out their first taste of Sixes.

Ultimately falling short Round 1, Season 1, Pride of Patty retools with an updated roster ready to win it all in Season Three. Greer is joined by two studs who were just running around DI fields last Spring at Robert Morris University. Ben Starkey netted 26 goals for the Colonials in 2024, the third most on the team. His teammate, Eli Doyle, also joins Pride of Patty. Doyle gave the Colonials strong middie reps, scoring a couple of goals and causing a few turnovers. He was more of a scoring threat at junior college powerhouse Harford Community College, where he was a second-team NJCAA All-American, scoring 117 points in two seasons before transferring to Bobby Mo.

Will the added firepower be successful this season for Pride of Patty? Watch the Sixes Prize League this Fall to find out. You can watch the games live on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, and SixesPrizeLeague.com via the Boxcast streaming app. Three SPL games this season also air on cable TV on The CW via 22 The Point, the regional station in Pittsburgh that carries The CW.
